I’m traveling back in time
by Mathias Jansson
I’m traveling back in time
to the north of Sweden
to my parents’ place
where I was born
I’m traveling back in time
follow my childhood path
the path I used to run
through the forest
down to the river
I’m traveling back in time
to a time when I sat
on the stone by the water
fishing as a child
I’m traveling back in time
to place that no longer exists
so much has changed
in my life
and at my childhood place
I’m traveling back in time
to a place that now only exist
on the sunny memory lane.
